The outer forces assemble at the gate: oppression, cruelty, judgement, institutions, money, taxation, slave masters, bankers, bosses, deceivers.
The inner forces amass upon the structure: wives, husbands, friends, ex’s, affairs, children, in-laws, haters, co-workers, deceivers.
Societal demands lament there ever calling: perfection, materialism, religion, patriotism, manhood, womanhood, race.
The battle within, a test for all of us today.
What world do you choose to live in today? Do you believe it is one of happiness, kindness to others, and mutual respect for other humans? Perhaps that is a goal you have set for yourself daily while the forces listed above take aim at you like a rattlesnake ready to strike. Perhaps you live a tad different realizing it is every man for themselves, so you chart a course of personal destruction in order to gain some form of material happiness.
I would present to you that we sit at the brink of utter world collapse as we know it. Endless wars, famine, oppression, enslavement to bankers and the ruling elite, constant deception and lies by those holding the levers of power and a corporate controlled government media propaganda machine. Endless “economic recovery”, covered over by 60 trillion dollars of “money printed out of thin air” and interest rates at 0% over the last six years. Weapons so advanced, technology beyond most science fiction movies about to be unleashed on us for the “betterment of mankind”.
All the while here in America you could hear but a pin drop on city streets about these topics. An occasional “riot” ginned up by government agents to come up with a new way to place more laws upon the population limiting freedom and personal liberty always the outcome. My thoughts today is somewhat the same it has been for years.
UNTIL people individually “win” the battle within, silent the population will be.
Over the past year I have had conversations with thousands of people. Some enough to get into their minds and see why they are the way they are, and I let them into my mind. Normally the outcome is they never want to talk with me again. They are in the battle, they can express it, but all the majority wants to do is suppress, and sedate it. “I just want to live happy, and try to tune everything else out”, is a statement I have heard endlessly, from males and females. Even though they all know something is terrible wrong with the world, their lives, this country, they would rather live in the lie all around them, movies, tv, shopping, spending, working, and running like the hamster on the wheel. Most as they look back upon their lives can list the heap of destruction from what was once a great dream in those teenage years of a marriage, great career, big house, car, and kids, to divorce, bankruptcy, endless debt, criminal records, depression, endless drugs, and living basically a life of hell masking as “happy”.
I would argue the battle within has been hoisted upon all of us by design. How can one ever have a happy life when the the deck of life has been stacked against us. Heck who out their can really define what happy is any more. It seems to be the “happy bar” is being lowered and lowered every day. Shit for me a happy day is getting a workout in, doing some cross stitching, working 5 hours at an absolutely meaningless job, trying to eat healthy, and getting 8 hours of sleep in. An obedient slave. The days usually get horribly worse if I try to socialize, go out on a date, or interact on any meaningful level with other humans. We have turned into a society that polices itself into its own tyrannical enslavement.
Think about that last sentence for a minute.
